A native of Rolla, Missouri, Executive Chef Jeremiah D. Lyman brings Midwest flavors together with a savory mix of foods and spices from all over the world to create a special cuisine that expertly blends wholesome Americana-style cuisine with Spanish, German, and French influences.

Growing up in the Missouri countryside, Chef Jeremiah became intimately familiar with the concept of “Farm to Table” long before it became a trendy topic of the restaurant scene. As a hunter and fisher, he learned at a young age how to clean and prepare his own meals.

It was his grandmother, Cecilia, however, who served as the inspiration for his entry into the world of culinary creations. Cecilia, who tended her own garden, taught the budding chef how to use herbs, berries, and other wild edibles of Missouri in order to create truly gourmet meals from fresh and locally-sourced ingredients.

Years later and now Executive Chef at the Reserve Restaurant located in the stunning Ambassador Hotel Kansas City, Autograph Collection, Chef Jeremiah is taking that knowledge and love of food handed down through the generations to create truly inspiring culinary masterpieces that pamper the palate while paying tribute to the wisdom and teaching of Grandma Cecilia.
